Kevin is a multi-award winning designer and builder of diverse synergistic structures incorporating sustainable building and design practices and products.
Kevin began his career over thirty years ago, gaining valuable experience in architectural design & documentation, presentation, structural documentation, specification writing, building supervision, contract administration, tendering and liaison with associated consultants, and local authorities.
Kevin’s passion is helping clients create their own, individual sanctuary, however he also recognised the need for a specific design that responded to our changing climate including the extreme weather events that houses in rural and coastal areas are often exposed to. His design brief included an extensive list of criteria that should be considered : environmental sustainability, durability, semi-prefabrication, low embodied energy, highly secure, fire and storm resistance. The Convertible House was born.
