The motel is located diagonally opposite the heritage listed Central Park, which is especially colourful during the Autumn change of seasons. The property is an easy 5 minutes’ walk from local hotels, restaurants, cafés and the vibrant Armidale city centre retail shops. Country Comfort Armidale is a 5-minute drive from Armidale Private Hospital, Armidale Showground, Armidale Railway Station and Armidale Racecourse and just 10 minutes' drive from the University of New England and Armidale Airport. Each room at Country Comfort Armidale includes a Smart TV, ironing facilities, work desk, refrigerator, toaster and a microwave together with a private bathroom with hairdryer and toiletries. An on-site restaurant The Cottage, is available for guest’s convenience in the 110-year-old, fully restored, converted home. The restaurant is an example of early Victorian architecture and features a warming open fireplace, stained glass windows and traditional covered verandah. Trading is from Tuesday to Saturday. A guest laundry is available with both washing and drying facilities. Room Service available for Dinner only, Tuesdays to Saturdays.
