Beautiful, secluded property. Wonderful as a getaway. Welcoming and open -- like being in a home away from home. The room was beautifully made up and the toiletries/beddings/amenities were clearly chosen with love and care.

Winner of the Perth Airport WA Tourism Bronze Award for Best Hosted Accommodation A hidden gem of old Australian charm situated in the gateway to the Southern Forests of Western Australia. Located just six kilometres from town, one hour form Margaret River and only three hours from Perth surrounded by beautiful countryside. Lovely expansive gardens, a tennis court and a rustic old barn oozing with character surround the heritage homestead and date back to 1870. A perfect venue for your wedding, a relaxed picnic style party, group functions or relax with a cuppa on the verandah. The homestead consists of four ensuite rooms and one two bedroom unit with an ensuite. The rooms are individually decorated with genuine antique furnishings with a fresh modern influence. Sit back with a good book in the parlour or chill out with a glass of wine in the guest lounge/dining room by the log fire. Enjoy homemade preserves, jams and marmalade, seasonal local fresh fruits, yoghurts, cereals, fresh juice or choose from a selection of delicious breakfasts from our breakfast menu. Discounted rates include a continental breakfast only.
At Dingup House our main aim is to make our guests feel at home. We offer camp fire nights with a BBQ dinner. We often share meals around our dining room table. We invite our guests into our home and country lifestyle. Enjoy picking fresh produce from our veggie patch, feed and collect fresh eggs from our chooks. Hang out with our resident dog, Lady Lola. Feed and pat the pet goats and pony. Laze about in the gardens and enjoy the sounds of nature. We love art, gardening, cooking, camping, playing tennis, traveling and socialising with our guests. We make our own jams and preserves.
Historic Dingup House is a wonderful place to spend your idyllic South Western Australia vacation. The surrounding forests are pristine and the nearby towns are quaint and welcoming.
