Nestled amongst the trees in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, this property is home to rosellas, kookaburras and various other native birds, and regularly visited by the neighbourhood koala. Set on 2,000 sqm of garden with outdoor dining areas, a gazebo, and sweeping verandahs, and surrounded by towering trees, this home is ideal for an escape with the family.
A rustic country home with timber ceilings and floors throughout. The loungeroom has double doors to the verandahs, both front and rear, and features a combustion fireplace.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need – utensils, crockery, cookware (including bakeware), and appliances (e.g. ricecookers, slowcooker, blender etc). With a Miele gas stove, dishwasher and filtered water, you will be very comfortable throughout your stay.
The main bedroom has a King bed, ensuite, wardrobe and dresser; Bedroom 2 (accessed via Bdrm 3) a Queen bed and large windows filled with the beautiful garden scenery; and Bedroom 3/the office space a King Single bed, and a desk and chair for getting some work done/working-from-home while staying. NB: If there are 5 guests those staying in Bedroom 2 need to pass through Bedroom 3. All bedrooms are at the rear of the house.
The main bathroom has a large walk-in shower and the laundry a washtub and front load washing machine.
The gardens are the real cherry on top at this property. It’s a large area, private, and with large towering trees and meandering paths. There are two separate outdoor dining areas, and a gazebo with a bar table – a gorgeous spot for a wine in the evening. There is an outdoor BBQ for use also.
Parking is in the driveway; there is enough space for four cars.
Pets are welcome, however the property is not fully secure.
Whilst the house is on one level and can be accessed without using the steps, you would be required to park or walk down a somewhat steepish driveway.
A cot is available, however neither a mattress nor linen is provided.
