Hi. I'm Karen. We have been hosting Aussie and international guests since 2011 and understand the traveller's needs. Self check-in is available so you don't need to contact me and tell me that you are running late because your adventure has been so exciting that time got away on you. Your room will be ready and unlocked for you at 2pm. If I see you drive in, I will come over and say G'Day. Just drive across the grass and park out the front and let yourselves in.  Teas and coffee, cereal, bread and spreads  and 2 litres of fresh milk are always provided free of charge.  Our mini bar has lots of things for you to buy like frozen meals, desserts, icecream, cheese, crackers, wine, sweet biscuits, chocolates etc. Cash please. There are maps of the Grampians available in your room too.
Enjoy staying on our farm whilst visiting the local town and enjoy some of the natural attractions. During your stay near Dunkeld, you will come across a number of scenic trails suitable for guests of all ages. Explore the area’s innate beauty by visiting the most scenic areas of the town and its verdant forest boasting native flora and fauna.
The town also houses a museum, golf course, tennis court and outdoor swimming pool and award winning restaurant. Visitors can also go bushwalking to explore the area’s most pristine and scenic attractions.
The charming village of Dunkeld is a 8 minute drive away and has art galleries, great coffee, cute cafes, a 150 year old bakery, some boutique shopping, the Dunkeld Arboretum and the famous two hatted dining destination of The Royal Mail Hotel, where you can also visit their kitchen garden or award winning wine cellar.
Popular tourist activities include scenic drives, trails, hiking, mountain biking and bird watching.  Come here to experience hiking  across the pathways of Mount Abrupt, Mount Sturgeon and the little Piccaninny to enjoy the best panoramic views OR head to the coast...only an hours drive from here
