If you like colour and quirkiness, Jamaica Mid-Century offers you a warm, welcoming place to stay that will feel like your home away from home. If you prefer white minimalism, read no further! Jamaica Mid-Century is located in Fulham Gardens, a peaceful, friendly neighbourhood, perfectly situated between the city and the beach, and only a 10-minute drive from Adelaide Airport. The wide tree-lined street is also close to Linear Park for those who would like to cycle in safety. The house is filled with quality furniture, both new and vintage, all immaculate in quality and presentation. Walls are covered with original artwork. Child and pet-friendly. The home features... * 2 bedrooms, fitted with plush carpet, luxurious bedding and quality window furnishings * open-plan living area, featuring a 2.4m solid oak dining table and comfortable sofas made locally in Adelaide * original 1960's solid wood kitchen with De Longhi coffee machine, microwave, large fridge-freezer, oven, stove-top, double sink and ample cupboard and bench space for food preparation * modern bathroom with walk-in shower * second toilet * large reverse cycle air-conditioning in the living room * security doors, screens and dead locks fitted to all windows * off-street parking in the driveway * private lawned area in rear back garden * beautiful garden beds filled with roses and native plants * numerous seating and entertaining areas
I live in the UK with my husband, Brian, but Jamaica Mid-Century is our home in Adelaide when I come to visit my family each year. I manage the bookings, but my sister, Kathy, is your point of contact during your stay in Adelaide, and my niece, Kelly, looks after the property for me. As it is my home, it is filled with things that I love, both new and vintage, and the walls are covered with artwork, some done by family friends.
