Hi, I am Jenny! Myself and my young family made the Byron shire our home in January 2020, after emigrating from the UK and we LOVE it. I set up Ocean Vibes Property Management 12 months ago and manage an array of places in the Northern Rivers for my lovely owners. Living locally means I can be a 'hands-on' host if needed and can offer lots of great tips for exploring the local area. We love to travel and love the great outdoors, especially the Ocean. Our love for the sea has taken us all over the world as Scuba diving Instructors and we are so blessed to have had those experiences. I love to go for long runs, do Yoga with my friends and am currently learning to surf along with my 3 children! I have over 5 years of experience in property management and hosting, and just recently set up my own hosting business in the area - Ocean Vibes Property Management. My Partner is the local handyman and plumber and so he is on hand if any issues arise during your stay. The expansive, lush garden, bordering a nature reserve, offers endless entertainment for kids while you enjoy the tranquility. PANGKARRA GARDENS The Pristine white sands of the patrolled Pottsville beach is conveniently accessed via a path connecting to the property's garden gate. Here you will also find a walking path taking you as far as Hastings Point. Garden comes complete with outdoor shower, trampoline, cubby house with sandpit, fire pit, dining area and sofas. GROUND FLOOR To the front of the property you have free street parking. Open plan kitchen diner and access into the huge outdoor gardens. To the front of the house there is a lounge area with a large Smart TV, brand new comfortable sofas and a laundry room with toilet. Aircon in the living space and downstairs bedroom. Ceiling fans throughout Kitchen- Fully equipped for all your holiday needs. Comes with a bean to cup Breville coffee machine and all condiments and kitchen items you would require for a great stay. Queen bedroom with stunning Ensuite. Complete with brand new high quality mattress & built in robes. Powerful ceiling fan. 1st FLOOR 2nd Lounge with TV and brand new double Koala sofa bed. Office/study nook with desk and chair. Upstairs veranda with seating. A Koala double sofa converts into a sofa bed please request linen for this at time of booking. Luxury Bathroom with bath tub. Please note that this acts as both an Ensuite to the Master bedroom and an upstairs family bathroom with 2 lockable access doors

Neighbourhood information

Still a quiet coastal town with excellent beaches and lots of families who return for holidays year after year, Pottsville is set to grow dramatically over the next decade. Although the original area was developed at the mouth of a creek along the pretty coastal strip, the new residential areas being released cover a range of topography, both coastal and rural and follow the Mooball Road inland for rural residential settings. Currently serviced by a small shopping centre with takeaway food, restaurants, beachside hotel, supermarket and surf and fishing supplies, the town is likely to grow dramatically when the new Chinderah to Yelgun bypass opens at the end of 2002, bringing Tweed Heads and Brisbane much closer. Pottsville will be only 4km off the new road, instead of 12km currently. Originally named Potts Point (after Bill Potts, who owned the first dwelling there around 1930), the town became Pottsville early on to avoid confusion with its Sydney namesake. Famous for excellent beaches fishing from both beaches and estuary, and a great place for canoeing, Pottsville holds an annual Raft Race Day in which a whole range of contests for toddlers upward add to the family fun on the safe waterways. Hastings Point, between Pottsville and Cabarita, is an attractive wetlands area with canoes for hire, which can be paddled along the many estuaries. The Pottsville Beach Bicentennial Environment Park is another attraction for bushwalking and picnics, and there are other picnic areas on the beachfront. There are also tennis courts and a nearby golf course for sporting enthusiasts.
