Located in centre Queanbeyan and only about 11 min to Canberra airport and Fyshwick businesses centre, De Murray B&B offers the best for weekend away at our dog friendly, bird watching and fruit trees property. Queen-bed room with mountains view is one of the rooms of De Murray B&B house on the first floor with entrance from the backyard gate on Bulbar St. You can book either one room or book the 3 rooms separately, or book the whole house via our separated listings, to better address your needs. We also offer party and event function at our Dickson Centre, where has a commercial kitchen and dining in door and 2 BBQ stoves outdoor that can host 20-30 people with beautiful court yard view. Please do let us know if you would like to organise a party or event so that we will better address your needs. Under the B&B house, there is a separated house which is the owner’s dwelling with access from Cooma St. please make sure you use the Bulbar St entrance as the Cooma St entrance has a very narrow drive way where you will not be able to get off your car if you parked at the drive way. We have staff lives on site to manage B&B, cleaning and check-in/out at reception room in this B&B house. Please do not forget to book a stay at out B&B to taste our sweet apricots and cherries in the spring and summer seasons. More fruit trees will be planted in the near future to enable guest can taste our fruit almost all season around. This house has front and back gardens, bird feeding area, sitting area and dining area. Lots of Birds come in the morning and afternoon enjoying a feed at the end of the garden. Bring your young kids and family and plenty bird feeds to enjoy a relaxing weekend at our B&B. The whole house has heating and cooling system and additional aircon in the living and dining room, to ensure your comfort bale stay in all seasons. Breakfast/brunch or dinner can be booked separately with our host over the weekends (fee applies).HireBike may be available.

Queanbeyan is a city in the south-eastern region of New South Wales, Australia, located adjacent to the Australian Capital Territory in the Southern Tablelands region, with the best location to access to the modern but bush capital city of Canberra, either for business or weekends away. Our B&B offers the best place to watch birds closely in our backyard. Bring bird feeds to feed bird in the morning or in the evening, and watch the clouds, and taste apricots in the spring on a weekend. If you love dogs but no dog, does not matter, we have dog and dogs staying at our Dog Day Care and Boarding centre regularly, you will definitely have a dog pat if you prefer, at least you can pat our friendly companion dog Tiger who is child friendly and love playing with kids and all human. A short walk via Dane St, you will reach to the Queanbeyan River, to enjoy some water sports or a picnic under the tree on the bank. Of course, Canberra city, weekend markets, Kingston, and Fyshwick market, war memorial etc are all just within 15 min drive.
