It offers self-contained accommodation with a private balcony overlooking the river or city. Quest Mackay is only 10 minutes’ walk from the Mackay Entertainment & Convention Centre, and 1.3 km from the Bluewater Lagoon. Mackay Airport is a 10-minute drive away. The air-conditioned apartments include an iPod docking station, a flat-screen TV. Each apartment has a kitchenette or kitchen with a stove, a microwave and a refrigerator. Our property is ideally located in the CBD of Mackay with access to some of the best nature activities you could hope for over a few nights. If you are coming to Mackay make sure you allow sufficient time to go and see Kangaroos and Wallabies hopping around on our beaches or spotting a platypus in the wild one of the only places to see them in the world in their own habitat. If you have a sense of adventure take on Forest Flying or explore some of our 100,000's of acres of unspoilt rainforests and walking tracks with plenty of waterfalls to view along the way. We have some awesome spots to go for a weekend of fishing and catching Barramundi before the crocs get them. It is a place you can become absorbed in and so close to the beautiful Whitsundays where you can do day trips to.
