What are you waiting for?
We've had the privilege of living in many places both within Australia and around the world and feel we have found a little piece of paradise here at Ruse Estate. We live on 80 acres in the Margaret River region where we grow grapes and our property is absolutely stunning. With native bush, parkland, and extensive waterways including a creek, lake and cute dam with a carriage, jetty and small ampitheater, we just couldn't keep this place to ourselves.
Our property is very unique and so picturesque. Ruse Estate is a fabulous place to relax and soak up all that is on offer at our place, whether that be enjoying the view from your terrace, watching the sun go down from the carriage on the dam, taking the kayaks out on the lake or walking around exploring our property. You can also enjoy what the wonderful Margaret River Region has to offer, although you may not want to leave your 'home away from home' once you've arrived and see what we have to offer.
We look forward to meeting you and showing you our beautiful property!
Regards
Karen and Lawrie Tremaine
Rosa Glen is in the heart of wine country and is renowned as a chardonnay producing region. Situated just 15 minutes southeast of Margaret River (where you'll find grocery stores and a fabulous shopping strip), it's time to sit back and relax and enjoy wonderful country living, all on the edge of the beautiful Blackwood River National Park. In fact, Chapman Brook runs right through our property and runs into the Blackwood not far from here.
The region has an abundance of berry farms, wineries and orchards, many of which have restaurants that showcase their latest harvest. The Berry Farm is just 4 kms from Ruse Estate and offers sumptuous berry dishes from its quaint cottage café, and as well as a range of jams, condiments, sauces, port, vinegar and seasonal produce. It has a great cafe so is a lovely place to visit for breakfast or lunch.
Another favorite restaurant of ours situated a little further south is Glenarty Rd, which features farm to table produce as well as a lovely array of wines. A couple of our favorite wineries in this region that have a restaurant includes Vasse Felix, Leeuwin Estate, Voyager, Cullens and the Japanese restaurant at Fishbone is really lovely.
Be sure to visit the Firetail Wine Estate to sip on some of their premium wines. If you like organic wines, Si Vintners are just 2. kms away. Brown Hill Estate is another fabulous winery in the area, while Leuuwin Estate and Voyager are just 10 minutes away.
Perth’s international airport is 280 kms (174 m) to the north- a 3 hour drive. You can also connect to the Margaret River domestic airport or fly in from Melbourne to Busselton Margaret River Airport.
