Maya Sanctuary is a secluded 200-acre bushland retreat, providing boutique accommodation in the Kanimbla Valley, west of the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. It offers luxurious, self-contained cottages and private homestay rooms. Each cottage is individually themed and has access to well-equipped kitchen facilities, with a gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, with all kitchenware provided. The cottages each have a private balcony, fireplace and BBQ. The homestay has deluxe rooms with private en suites. Guests may explore the whole property, including the beautiful Blackheath Creek, valley, fields, forest, cliffs and caves. The surrounding area is rich with local farmers and artisans, as well as many lookouts and nature walks. Mount Victoria Train Station is a 15-minute drive away and the property is a 30-minute drive to Lithgow town centre. Katoomba town centre and The Three Sisters are 30 km away.

There is no TV reception at the property, however a TV monitor and DVD player are provided in each cottage for guests to watch DVDs.
