It doesn’t get much better than this idyllic retreat in the heart of Fannie Bay. This design-driven villa has all the hallmarks of a relaxed, tropical stay, striking the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor living. The open-plan living and kitchen flows to the back deck. This is the home’s showpiece —an exquisite temperature-controlled pool for year-round swimming, a daybed and alfresco dining replete with a wine fridge, BBQ and TV with Foxtel for sports viewing poolside. Inside, the modern white kitchen is designed around a central island, with plenty of space to prepare meals, entertain or take things slow at the breakfast bar. Share a meal around the dining table or use this space for setting up a laptop if you’re on a working holiday. Then, in the evening, lounge around in the living area while watching your favourite shows on Netflix. Air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout keep things cool all year round. Heading upstairs you’ll find the bedrooms. The primary bedroom highlights a king-sized bed and enjoys direct access to the balcony. It comes with large wardrobes for your belongings and its own TV. The second and third bedrooms are each appointed with a queen-sized bed, while the second bedroom also flows out to the balcony—set for two. An award-winning designer bathroom allows you to refresh in style. Enjoy a soak in the free-standing bath or rinse under in the gold-toned double shower, with complimentary toiletries provided for your stay. Two half bathrooms, one on each floor, and laundry facilities add to your everyday convenience. Parking is provided for three cars under the carport.

It is home to picturesque walking trails along the foreshore, a beautiful sandy beach and the historic site of Fannie Bay Gaol. Don’t miss sampling the region’s local tropical fruits, freshly roasted coffee and exotic flavours at the nearby Parap Village Markets, held each Saturday. In the Top End, get up close to saltwater crocodiles on a jumping croc cruise, explore traditional and contemporary art galleries and swim under the waterfalls of Litchfield National Park. Don’t miss grabbing dinner at the famous Mindil Beach Sunset Market (April-October), which showcases Aboriginal art, fashion and a melting pot of delicious cuisines.
