This beautiful historic homestead is an amazing country retreat just minutes from Bathurst. Situated on a working farm, Yarras is the perfect destination for a relaxing couple’s getaway or to stay with a group of friends. A dream setting for weddings, custom events, photo shoots or just a memorable escape. The 200 year old homestead has recently been fully renovated and sleeps up to 10 people in complete luxury. Take in the picturesque views & breathtaking sunsets from the homestead verandah.
Yarras Homestead is one of the most significant buildings of its era. The beautiful fully renovated homestead is stylishly furnished to compliment the age, elegance and charm of the property. The homestead whispers romance with the stunning red cedar staircase and timber panelling still in original condition. Beautiful fireplaces, high ceilings crowned with intricate cornices and gorgeous polished timber floorboards feature throughout. Thoughtfully curated antique furniture adds a touch of sophistication and charm. Outside the magnificent wrap-around verandah is bathed in the mesmerising views of the surrounding countryside. The property boasts a rich tapestry of history, with its historic shearing shed, sheep dip, and timber sheep yards originally serving as a water-powered flour mill. established in 1825. The concrete barn and stables provide additional spaces for use.
