Located in the mysterious and magical Isla del Sol Island, off the coast of Copacabana, Casa de la Luna - ISLA DEL SOL offers accommodations with a magnificent view of Lake Titicaca and the surrounding Andes Mountains. A complimentary breakfast is served daily. The well-equipped rooms all feature a private bathroom with free toiletries, bed linen and towels. Casa de Luna offers a bar and a restaurant featuring local cuisine, a 24-hour front desk, a tour desk, a garden and a terrace. Isla del Sol can be reached by boat from the charming town of Copacabana from there is a 30 min uphill walk. You can hire a donkey ride for the luggages . The hotel's location on the island is privileged, as it is a 30-minute walk from the Temple of the Sun, Pilkokaina. The separate Island of the Moon is 8 km away. Copacabana can be reached from the cities of La Paz and El Alto approximately in a 3-hour drive.

「島に到着する時間が遅くなったにも関わらず、荷物を運ぶロバの手配をしてくださったり、夕食を取れるレストランまで案内してくださったり、色々な問題に対し臨機応変に親切に対応して頂いたことに、大変感謝しています。宿に到着するまでの道のりは大変厳しいものですが、頑張って辿り着いたお宿は、お部屋も眺めも大変素晴らしかったです！朝食もアレルギー対応食を用意して頂き、大変助かりました。お庭に大きなハチドリがやってくるのも可愛いかったです♪」
