3,560 metres above sea level and 2 minutes’ walk from central Putre, Terrace Lodge is an ideal base for exploring the Chilean Altiplano. It has mountain views and free Wi-Fi. Guest bedrooms at the peaceful Hotel Terrace Lodge have en suite bathrooms with hot water available 24/7 and wall mounted hair dryer. The rooms have individually controlled heating and a cecurity deposit box. Continental Breakfast is served in the dining room between 8:30 and 9:30. Espresso and Italian coffee are offered for an extra fee during breakfast and throughout the day. There are several restaurants in the centre of Putre, 200 metres away. Terrace Lodge provides private tours of the UNESCO-protected Lauca Nationa Park and other areas including Salar de Surire, Allane Canyon and Suriplaza. The hotel is 52 km from Chungará Lake and 140 kms from Arica Airport.

Be aware that the area can be rainy during summer (DEC-MAR). February is usually the wettest month of the year. Sometimes, due to rain and landslides, some roads could be closed. If you are booking the accommodation for that period, consider the risk of not being able to reach Putre an Terrace Lodge. Terrace Lodge does not guarantee exceptions of policy for cancellations during that period.

LOCAL TAX LAW.

Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%

To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won't be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA).

This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid seperately.
