What We Are
• A place where nature lovers can experience the lifestyle of a local Costa Rican family, learn about sustainable practices, and find rejuvenation amidst extraordinary biological diversity!
What We Offer
• A private Ecological House surrounded by forest. Designed with love and creativity by owner Wendy Brenes, the lodge balances sustainability, comfort, and a rustic feel.
• The Eco House is fully furnished with stove, microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator, hot water, hardwood floors, hammocks, clothes line, etc.
• This beautiful home is located on a 2 hectare (5 acres) farm/family property, 200 meters from the host’s family home. Here you may enjoy the beauty of nature and abundant wildlife around you, the tranquil environment, and the welcoming hospitality of your hosts.
• Just outside, or from the balcony, you may see toucans, parrots, trogons and even Great Green Macaws flying close by. You might well hear the sound of the manakins dancing in the day time. Fall asleep to the melodies of frogs and the calls of owls. Walking to the main house, you could even meet some frogs by following their croaks as they jump away at night!

I was very lucky to have the opportunity to work for non-profit organizations all my work life, as an Environmental Educator, Naturalist Guide, Marketing Manager, Volunteer and Research Coordinator, Sustainable
