Located at the base of the mountain 3 blocks from the center of the town of Orosi in the Orosi valley, 1.5 hours and 2 buses away from San Jose our simple yet clean and comfortable accommodations are great value for your money. Our Guest House offers private rooms with private bathrooms with hot showers and towels, and shared areas like our living room, dining room, guest kitchen with free coffee, free private enclosed parking and wifi all surrounded by beautiful gardens giving you privacy from the outside world. Volcanoes Irazu and Turrialba can be seen in the distance. Our guide book will help you choose the right type of local activity to fit your budget. The area is great for free hiking and tours can be organized upon arrival.
Since 1996 Montaña Linda has been offering Accommodations, Spanish lessons, tourist information and hiking trails to travelers looking for a break from the big city and the hot beaches.
The Orosi valley and surrounding area offer a wide variety of options/budgets for keeping busy while in town be it organized tours or just hiking around the valley. The town and its inhabitants are also great for getting a dose of the local culture and to practice the language.
