We are happy to ensure a successful holiday for our guests with hospitality and friendliness, beautiful, clean, luxurious rooms, a free, good and healthy breakfast and a free packed lunch for a nice walking or beach day.
Casa Alegria has a luxurious interior. ALL rooms have good beds with toppers / fresh towels every day / free filled welcoming mini bar / free wifi / safe / internet / coffee and tea making facilities / sitting area. Our guests are allowed to use the large kitchen, which is equipped with all appliances. Casa Alegria has a beautiful breakfast room, a TV lounge and a beautiful roof terrace, where you can also have breakfast or where, after a wonderful day of walking or beach, you can enjoy a drink while enjoying the view over Tarrafal, the sea and the mountains.
We offer you a large range of rooms and suites, from budget to luxurious, therefore accessible for everyone, with the same attention and service for everyone!

Santiago is an island with an enormous offer for beach, culture, hiking and nature lovers. The most beautiful beaches are located in the north at the town of Tarrafal. Our quiet Casa Alegria is located in the Ponta de Autum district. Only 4 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean. Do you want to look up the crowds? The center of Tarrafal, with its nice restaurants and beach, is a five-minute walk away.
The island has wonderful places that are really worth discovering (Monte Graciosa, the slavery history in Cidade Velha, the market in Assomada, the oldest tree in Africa, the Poilon) and the many fishing villages with their own culture. The town of Tarrafal with its beautiful beach and beautiful rocks, offers plenty of restaurants and bars to enjoy a wonderful holiday.
