Our holiday home bungalow has a terrace and shared use of the garden. The bungalow is approximately 70m2. There is a bathroom with a shower, a double and a single bedroom, a living & dining room, a small kitchen and a private parking space. The house is in our 4000m2 garden with chickens and rabbits and there are also horses next door. The garden has several slides and swings, a trampoline, a sandpit and a BBQ area. It is fenced in and secure and the grounds have CCTV. Very close by there is a supermarket, an open-air swimming pool, mini golf, a chemist, ice-cream parlours, restaurants (Italian, Greek, German...). We will be available throughout your holiday. We speak English and German, use WhatsApp and will be very close in case you need us.

Hornburg. Known as "the romantic half-timbered town". The small half-timbered town of Hornburg is located in the northern Harz foothills, nestled in the lovely Ilsetal valley between Braunschweig and Bad Harzburg. It was built around 1017 years ago and is the birthplace of Pope Clement II. With its listed medieval old town and almost 400 half-timbered houses, Hornburg is one of the most beautiful small towns in northern Germany. It calls itself "a garden for all the senses" as it has more than 30 objects around the city to see, hear, touch and smell. Well-developed cycle and hiking trails lead around Hornburg through the Große Bruch, through the Ilsetal, the Okeraue, to the Probsteiholz ​​- an ant and bird sanctuary and along the Green Belt. An absolute highlight is the newly established nature park "Hornburg - Großes Bruch - Fallstein". The house is located in Hornburg, about a 15-minute drive from the beautiful Bad Harzburg. We have everything you need here: a bakery, a supermarket, restaurants and ice cream parlors, a chemist, an outdoor pool, hiking and biking trails etc. Everything is within walking distance.
