Our half-timbered house is located in the historic district of Steinbach, right next to Fürstenau Castle and the Einhard Basilica. The view from the apartment overlooks the dreamy romantic castle garden, making you forget that the town center of Michelstadt is only about a 10-minute walk away. The property is 250 years old and was extensively renovated in 1992/93 according to biological construction criteria. It was important for us to preserve the original character. For example, oak beams and half-timbering have been exposed, and door thresholds have been left in place, giving the interiors an authentic and cozy living atmosphere. Until 2022, a pottery was located in the extension of the property. Works from that time can be found throughout the apartment.
