Our guest House lies in a small village which is well connected to Freiburg,Breisach and the region by commuter trains. The comfortable house is surrounds by an Orchard of cherry and walnut trees, securing a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Our holiday apartment is located in the center of the village and not on the guesthouse site. "Im Bückle 4" in Gottenheim. Keys can be obtained at the guesthouse during reception hours. You will need to pay at the guesthouse upon arrival. Please contact us for further inquiries. To make your stay with us even nicer, we have cooperated with "Gastfreund". We are a family of German and Canadian origin, who decided to run the guest house in 2012. We are currently 3 generations, who look forward to welcoming our guests from around the world. It is our ambition to make you stay as comfortable as possible und we feel particularly happy if you have an exceptional holiday or business stay.
Gottenheim is a small village, which still functions as a normal German village, with vinyards, a few restaurants und a small local market on Tuesdays. Seasonally there are two "Straussen" (vinyard-restaurants). By train you can reach the whole region and the black forrest easily for hiking and biking. In addition there is a local swimming pool only 2 km away, or some lakes about 10 km away, which can be reached by train or bike. A nature path in a near by forrest allows dipping the feet in a stream. Should you want to visit the fun park "Europa Park" it takes only 15-20 Minutes by car to get there. Business people can reach Freiburg fare grounds and central station within 10 Minutes by train or car. The Basel fare ground can be reached within 1 hour by train or car.
