The guest apartment is located in the listed back building of a Wunstorf town house from the early 19th century in the middle of the historic town centre in the picturesque old-town alley called "Wasserzucht". The apartment has a living/bedroom with a small open kitchen, a hallway, a shower room with daylight and its own entrance spread over a total of 29 square metres. It was renovated and newly furnished in the summer of 2019. Furthermore a small terrace belongs to the apartment.
The apartment is fully equipped and suitable for up to two people. The full-size bed for two persons can be converted into a comfortable day bed/sofa during the day. An additional child bed and chair can be provided free of charge if required. Furthermore you will find W-LAN, HD-TV, a capsule and filter coffee machine as well as a picnic basket equipped with cutlery and crockery incl. blanket. (Tip: It is best to fill it with regional products directly from the producer at the popular Wunstorf weekly market). Towels and bed linen are also available free of charge. Public parking with and without charge is available in the immediate vicinity. Electric vehicles free of charge. For a daily flat rate of 5.00 you can also park comfortably in an underground park.
The district Steinhude and the Steinhuder Meer can be reached by car in 10 minutes. By bicycle you reach Steinhude through the idyllic forest area "Hohenholz" after 6 kilometres in about 20 minute
In Wunstorf you can reach everything on foot. The popular car-free pedestrian zone with many owner-operated shops, restaurants, cafés, bakeries and organic shops as well as the weekly market is only a stone's throw away. You can discover Wunstorf's sights either guided or independently by taking one of three historical city walks. The abbey church "St. Cosmas und Damian" built on a slope, the city park and the beautiful grasslands along the river Aue with cycle path are all in the immediate vicinity and invite you to discover and relax. A varied art and culture programme in the town theatre or the former abbey round off your visit to Wunstorf. You can reach the main station of the state capital Hanover by regional train from the station in Wunstorf in 13 minutes. By bicycle, along the "Mittellandkanal” route, you can e.g. reach the Herrenhausen Gardens in Hanover after a good hour's journey.
