Luegde itself is famous for the ancient tradition of Easter wheel rolling. Numerous health resorts in the area attract visitors with very different attractions. For example, the nearby Staatsbad Pyrmont offers such unusual attractions as a haze cave and sinkholes, in addition to its famous palm garden, the Hufeland-Therme spa, a zoo and the castle.
