You can rent a canoe directly at the small port of Vieregge and explore your enchanting holiday region from the water. The Bodden is an ideal area for all kinds of water sports and is also very popular with anglers. Opposite Vieregge is the island of Hiddensee, which can be reached by ferry from Schaprode. The well-known sights of the island such as the chalk cliffs, the Granitz hunting lodge or the white town of Putbus can be reached by car in less than 45 minutes.
