Mitte Juli ist die größte Kirmes am Rhein aufgebaut. Das Japan Fest in Düsseldorf sorgt für kulturelle Vielfalt und endet mit einem großen Feuerwerk. Zur Weihnachtszeit laden die verschiedenen Weihnachtsmärkte zu einem gemütlichen Bummel ein. Die Düsseldorfer Altstadt ist auch bekannt als die längste Theke der Welt. Es liegen Flyer und Speisekarten der Restaurants in der Umgebung aus.
