There's a lot to do in the area. We have a big beer garden with many trees that give shadow on hot summer days. The bathing lake is just some hundred meters away from my place as is the Amper river with ist nice marshlands, meadows and forests. The flora and fauna of the reserve is very worth exploring. Try the local bakery with their homemade rolls, tarts etc. The cakes are not too sweet (rather not very sweet) and their biscuit is not too dry. Especially the "Kir Royal" pie is very nice and very well worth a try! From time to time they even have their own beef, locally produced from galloway cattle. The local supermarket is has most one needs and there are many more in a distance of 5 kilometers. In the store you'll find a postoffice, too. There is also a nice local restaurant. The area is generally a very safe place.
