This family-run hotel in Hämelerwald is situated between Hanover and Braunschweig, just 5 minutes from the A2 motorway. Hotel & Restaurant Fricke offers a covered terrace overlooking the garden,pond and Hämeler Forest. The bright rooms at Hotel Fricke feature modern décor and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. A desk and a private bathroom are included in all rooms. A buffet breakfast is provided each morning in the restaurant or on the terrace during warm weather. Guests can also enjoy Italian ice-cream and seasonal local dishes, with the restaurant specialising in Flammkuchen (tarte flambée). The forest countryside around Hämelerwald is ideal for hiking, jogging and cycling. On-site parking is free at Hotel & Restaurant Fricke. It is a 30-minute drive from Hanover city centre and the Hanover Exhibition Centre.
