The city of Celle is a jewel of medieval architecture, which does not exist in this form in Germany for a second time. It is the destination of many tourists, so there are many good restaurants and pubs in the city. The ducal castle with the baroque castle theater and several museums are worth a visit. Celle is also a horse city and is home to the Niedersächsische Landgestüt. In Reichweitevon about 1 hour drive there are for example the safari park Hodenhagen, the Dino-Park Münchehagen, the Heide Park Soltau, the Zoo Hannover, the AWD Arena, the Hannover Messe, the former concentration camp Bergen-Belsen, the car city Wolfsburg and the Film Animal Park Eschede. There are also plenty of shopping opportunities from the ECE center to the dreamy old town boutique. The Lüneburg Heath begins a few kilometers in the north and invites you to go for a walk, cycle and horseback riding. Canoe trips are offered for friends of the water.
