It is also possible to rent bicycles, golf carts and other things for transportation on the island. There is a ferry service from Grenaa (with free long-term parking at the port) and an air route from Roskilde. Check when you can travel to the island before booking a vacation home. The island is almost car-free, as there are only a few kilometers of asphalt road. However, company cars come and permanent residents have cars.
