Fire up the barbecue and spend an evening in the warm shelter of the terrace, laughing and chatting late into the night The heart of the cottage is the open-plan kitchen-dining room, where the high ceilings and large windows provide plenty of light, air and a lovely sense of space. Relax on the soft sofas, compete in board game tournaments at the dining table, and prepare delicious cottage dishes in the small kitchen to the sound of birds whistling through the open patio door. The children's room is furnished with a bunk bed and toys for cozy moments when it rains and shakes outside. The cottage is surrounded on three sides by a lovely wooden terrace, where it is possible to find shelter and sun spots throughout the day as needed. Morning coffee can be drunk on the beautiful bamboo sofa, and the days can be spent playing, relaxing and having fun in and around the house, if you are not at the beach or on an excursion in scenic North Zealand with harbor towns, protected plantations and large forests. When the day comes to an end, just fire up the barbecue and enjoy a summer evening on the terrace in the best company. Meet Hege We are a Danish-Norwegian family of five with a lovely active family of children. The summer house is our sanctuary, where we get down to earth and have fun together. We love the proximity to the beach and forest, and we also love to visit the cozy town of Tisvilde. The children love to play in the sheltered garden, where there are also great opportunities to catch the sun when it is out.
