Welcome to paradise – MADORA! Enjoy pleasant temperatures all year round, stable weather with only 9 days of rain per year, fresh air, a wide starry sky, and absolute tranquility – we love this island.
After years of searching, we found the perfect house in the perfect location. Uniquely nestled between two volcanoes, directly adjacent to Timanfaya National Park, with breathtaking views of the ocean and landscape. The 1,600 m² property is located at the edge of a small, peaceful village. The lovingly landscaped garden offers shady spots under palm trees, pepper, olive, fig, and lemon trees, along with oleander, cacti, and other plants.
Tiny House Madora is a freestanding bungalow with 52 m² of living space – ideal for 2 people (+ max. 2 children on the sofa bed). It features a living-dining kitchen with ocean view, a combined living and sleeping area, and a bathroom. In front of the house are two terraces: one with sun loungers and one with a table and chairs in the shade of a palm tree overlooking the sea. A separate utility room offers a washing machine, dryer, drying rack, and additional loungers.
Next to the Tiny House is a locked garage used exclusively by returning guests who have access to their own private lockers. Becoming a regular guest means: traveling without luggage in the future – a benefit we are happy to provide.
The large property is divided into two distinct areas: villa and tiny house. Privacy walls ensure each guest enjoys their own peaceful retreat.
Facilities include fiber optic Wi-Fi, bath and beach towels, a fully equipped kitchen, and multilingual streaming TV with Pay-TV.
As typical Austrians, we love hospitality, good food, and nature. Hiking, cycling, jogging, mountaineering, swimming, sailing – and, of course, skiing – are part of our everyday life. We are frequently on the island and care for the homes personally.
After years of searching and countless island visits, we were thrilled to find Madora. It's even more wonderful that you now share this good fortune with us.
We don’t just offer accommodation – we offer a little paradise. A place to let go, recharge, breathe, and reconnect with what matters.
Our homes reflect how we ourselves love to live: cozy, high-quality, quiet, and close to nature and the richness of the island.
Lanzarote is a certified health resort – especially in this higher location, free of industry, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and free of pollutants. This adds to your relaxation and well-being.
The houses, newly renovated in 2024, are surrounded by a lovingly designed garden. Lanzarote is dry with sparse vegetation – which makes the green oasis even more special. All year round, it is a joy to discover blooming plants. Water shortage is a constant issue on the island – but not in Madora. A 60,000-liter cistern guarantees a secure water reserve, a unique feature for worry-free holidays.
Privacy, hospitality, and guest care were recognized with the Travel Proud award – granted by Booking in our very first year of hosting, highlighting the quality and dedication of our accommodation.
For any questions or concerns, we are always personally available. In addition, a professional agency manages the property on-site, so you always have someone to contact.
Madora’s surroundings are a true gem: Right next to the Timanfaya National Park with its volcanic scenery, vineyards, and hiking trails. Many routes start directly from the house – whether for a walk, a run, or a bike ride on quiet roads.
Each guest receives a personally curated guide from us with selected excursions, gastronomic tips, unique walking and hiking paths, and exclusive insider recommendations – based on our personal experiences and deep island knowledge. These individual tips set your stay apart from ordinary travel guides. Lanzarote – the island of a thousand impressions – can be discovered perfectly from Madora.
In a central, peaceful location in the heart of the island. No traffic noise, no aircraft noise – rare and highly sought-after on Lanzarote. Furthermore, attractions are easily and quickly accessible thanks to the location between both main roads.
Nearby are well-marked jogging and hiking routes. A favorite is the trail through the La Geria wine-growing region – perfect for an afternoon stroll ending with a glass of wine.
Thanks to its elevation, Madora offers breathtaking views of the ocean, volcanic landscape, and, on clear days, Fuerteventura.
Especially noteworthy: no mosquitoes, no flies. The elevated, dry climate with only 9 days of rain per year provides year-round comfort. Combined with the peace and healthy ocean air, the result is a unique place of relaxation.
Look forward to relaxing days – MADORA was made for it.
