We are a family business – founded by Alberto Cortes and Yvonne Hulst – and we run our latest hotel with the same level of passion and dedication for customer satisfaction as we do with our established brands, The Giri Residence, Es Vedra Bay Villas and KsaR Living.
Gare du Nord has nine rooms, split into four categories: Premier, Deluxe, Terrace and Deluxe Terrace. Every room has been completely refurbished and has been given a new lease of life with comfortable, homely and chic furnishings. Eclectic, stylish and laid-back, each room is imbued with the holiday architecture ethos of KsaR Living, with each piece of furniture, décor or art hand-selected by Alberto and Yvonne themselves.

A new addition to The Giri family is the hotel Gare du Nord, just a two-minute walk from The Giri Residence (www.thegiri.com) in San Juan – Opening on June 1st, 2023. Our stylish new sister hotel is run by the dedicated team at The Giri Residence, with the same love and passion for hospitality as our home base. It features just nine rooms, with four distinct categories, each with exquisite interior design and decoration, plus stunning new bathrooms. All of the artisan-made furniture has been hand-picked by our founders Yvonne Hulst and Alberto Cortes – who share a passion for style, design and unique pieces.

THE BOHEMIAN HEART OF IBIZA’S NORTH
The idyllic village of San Juan, a place to step back in time and experience what made Ibiza so alluring to the world in the first place. Gare du Nord is in the centre of it all – the perfect location for those seeking a slice of authentic Ibiza life.
Here you’ll find nature at its best, with gentle rolling hills, orange and lemon groves, almond blossom and rich red earth. Hire a car and within a five-minute drive you reach the coast, defined by dramatic cliff tops, and as you wind your way down you arrive at some of Ibiza’s most pristine and secret beaches. Alternatively, forget the car and embrace village life – some of Ibiza’s best restaurants are here on your doorstep and taxis are easily accessible if you want to take the short trip to the beach.
Aside from the simple and rustic beauty of San Juan, the great appeal of the village is that it leaves the Ibiza of mega yachts and super clubs behind – here you’ll find generous-spirited locals doing their thing as they have for centuries, welcoming newcomers with una copa de vino and a bowl of olives.
The overall sense is a supreme feeling of wellbeing and connectedness and yet the wider joys of Ibiza are just 20 minutes away if the spirit of adventure calls.
