Casa La Oliva, renovated in March 2023, offers all the comforts of a modern home and is sustainably equipped with aerothermal climate control. It is located in Albanchez de Mágina, Sierra Mágina in the province of Jaén. This is a typical Andalusian house with a white facade and two stories:
On the ground floor, there is a kitchen and an open-concept living room with a 55-inch smart TV and a wood stove. This space provides access to the patio with a barbecue and a pool with views of the mountains. Additionally, the ground floor has a pantry with a laundry area and a half bath.
On the first floor, there are 3 of the 4 bedrooms in the house, all with full bathrooms. In the attic, there is the 4th bedroom, another living room with a sofa bed, a library area, board games, a 55-inch smart TV, and a terrace with views of the Castle of Albanchez.
The house has a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary utensils and appliances. For our guests, there is a hairdryer, an iron, and of course, bed and bath linens available.
Casa La Oliva is designed for our guests to enjoy and relax in a peaceful environment.
We are Gabriel and Esperanza, a couple who loves to travel and stay in rural houses. With the experience we've gained from this type of accommodation and with the help of Susana, we have created Casa La Oliva so you can get to know our village, Albanchez de Mágina, and its surroundings while staying comfortably in our home.
Casa La Oliva is located at the entrance of the village, with easy car access, offering its guests a peaceful environment to unwind: hiking along the village and mountain trails, visiting places such as the UNESCO World Heritage cities of Úbeda and Baeza located 30 km away, and the city of Jaén with its Arab baths, cathedral, and castle 40 km away.
The village is in the heart of Sierra Mágina, surrounded by olive groves and with beautiful views of the Guadalquivir Valley. Our visitors can climb to the castle, a Muslim-era watchtower, visit the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, or cool off at the fountains: La Fuente de la Seda and La Fuente de los Siete Caños, which were used as washing places in the past. Additionally, the upper part of the village is a network of small medieval-style streets leading to several viewpoints where you can enjoy spectacular views of the mountains and the Guadalquivir Valley. Just 2 km from the village is the recreational area of the Hútar River spring.
The village has all the services needed to enjoy your stay: restaurants, small supermarkets, an ATM, and a health center.
