Property information

This building, popularly known as Etxetxu, was built in 1612 and is the oldest in Puerto Viejo, previously included in the port itself, which was elevated in 1629, dies years later. This unique house that presides over the entrance to the upper part of the barriada, was the addition of Getxo's Ayuntamiento for 22 years (from 1838 to 1860), headquarters of the Cofradía de Pescadores and Escuela de Pilotaje de los marineros Lemanes. It has even been the setting for several films, including “A Poco de Chocolate”. As the most recent event, on Saturday August 12, 1972, during the Puerto Viejo de Algorta fiestas, it is on the lower floor of this historic building, where the popular drink Kalimotxo is made. and we currently offer tourist apartments in this emblematic enclave.
