Happy at home in The Netherlands, but even happier at our home away from home in Spain. Hi! We are Antoine and Miranda, and at the end of 2021 we bought our first house in Costa Blanca. A house that was far too lovely to not share: that’s why we decided to rent out our homes, Casa van Schaik in Albir and our Casa Riu Verd in Alfaz del Pi. We are also currently renovating a 16-person villa 'Villa Vamos del Pi' in Alfaz del Pi. What drew us to this sunny Spanish region? The liveliness and warmth of the people, the great restaurants, and the abundance of outdoor activities. And most importantly, that our houses are easily accessible from both Alicante and Valencia airports. Extra studio available: Our Spanish casa near Valencia and Alicante is in the holiday village of Albir. The vacation home can accommodate up to 6 people. But by booking the studio adjacent to the home, you can fit 8 people. This is possible for fifty euros extra per day. Please indicate this in the special requests while booking. The studio has a double bed, ensuite bathroom and is accessible via a separate entrance. This might be handy if you have a larger party, or when you take your parents (in law) on vacation. You’ll find plenty of restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance of the Casa van Schaik. The supermarkets are well stocked, ensuring you will have a full pantry in no time. And as for the restaurants: let the restaurants of Albir surprise you, with their variety and quality. As of July 1, 2025, vacation rentals in Spain are subject to new regulations. This property holds two registration numbers, depending on the length of stay. We are fully compliant with the applicable legislation.
Are you thinking of an active vacation in Albir? The paddle and tennis courts are a 5-minute drive away. And within 20 minutes you can be teeing off on the golf course. Water lover? You can rent a boat just a few just steps away from our Spanish casa in Albir. Prefer peace and quiet? Walk out of the casa gates in a northerly direction. There you will find the entrance to the protected nature reserve 'Parc Natural de la Serra Gelada'. Here you will find hiking trails with beautiful views overlooking the sea. You can also walk to the beach in under 5 minutes. That really seals the deal, because with more than 300 sunny days per year, there is a good chance that you can almost always enjoy the sun in Albir. Spend an afternoon at Playa del Albir. Lounge on the beach beds, take a refreshing dip in the sea every now and then and sip on your favorite cocktail: the recipe for a perfect vacation. The casa has room for 2 cars in the private parking lot. Renting a car is a great way to explore the surrounding regions together with the whole group: Benidorm, Villajoyosa and the historic center of Altea are just a few kilometers away. The waterfalls Les fonts de L'Algar and the beautiful village of Guadelest are also definitely worth a visit.

Guests will receive a rental agreement which must be signed and returned to the property prior to arrival. If guests do not receive the agreement on time, they should contact the property management company at the number on the booking confirmation.
