Our apartments are located in a privileged place in the city, Carrer Colom is a small pedestrian street that connects Las Ramblas with Plaza Real. Right in the center of Barcelona, ​​in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, surrounded by an infinity of gastronomic and cultural offerings, a few steps from the Boquería Market and the Liceu, the famous Opera of the city, the port of Barcelona and the beaches of the Barcelonta, medieval monuments such as the Cathedral or Santa María del Mar, modernist monuments such as Palau Güell, the Picasso museum or the MACBA are just a short walk away. Our apartments combine the classicism of a building over 120 years old with a modern, functional design and with all the comforts: equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, large double bed with viscoelastic mattress, parquet floors, air conditioning, television, etc. The building has an elevator but you have to climb about 20 steps from the street so it is not recommended for people with mobility problems. The neighborhood is lively, bustling, full of life and tourism, the bars and restaurants are open until late, which means that some nights there can be noise in the street. ATTENTION! The photos shown on the main page of the property correspond to our TWO apartments in the building. One of them has balconies facing the street and the other only has a large window. I am new to Booking but I have been the host of these apartments for more than six years, I love my city and this small country that is Catalunya, for this I would like to open the doors of our apartments and welcome you. For me it is always nice to meet people from all over the world who travel here to discover our unknown corner for them, I like to help them feel at home, I like to advise them of a restaurant that is not the typical one for tourists. If you have already come other times to recommend a visit outside of Barcelona ... I like people and I try to treat them the way I like to be treated when I travel. What's near? EVERYTHING! You will be in the center of the city and, if something is far away, you have a Metro stop and a bus stop within a minute's walk, if you like comfort, a taxi rank on the corner. With the Metro you are at the Nou Camp, the FC Barcelona stadium, in 20 minutes, to the Sagrada Familia in 15 minutes, etc. I recommend the Metro to move from one side of the city to the other, it is fast, easy and cheap, but if what you want is to discover Barcelona there is no better way than to walk and get lost in the narrow streets of Gótico and Barceloneta or walk the grid from the Eixample in search of Casa Milà and the Sagrada Familia.
