El Retiro del Obispo enjoys a privileged location just inside the Gate of Santa Engracia, one of five into the historic village of Laguardia which enjoys the designation of "One of Spain's Most Beautiful Villages". Steps from the front entry are bars, restaurants, wineries, wine tasting, shops, museums, stunning scenery, architecture and historic sites. Numerous festivals and events liven up the village throughout the year.
