Playa Flamenca is a very attractive and popular residential area in the coastal municipality of Orihuela Costa, located 4 km south of Torrevieja and 50 km from Alicante Airport. The area has solid infrastructure with kindergartens, schools, sports facilities, restaurants, grocery stores and one of Spain largest outdoor shopping malls (Zenia Boulevard) nearby. Every Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00 there is a market along the streets of Playa Flamenca, which should definitely be experienced. Walk between the stalls, feel the atmosphere, the strange smells and all the colors! The area is otherwise known for its chalk-white sandy beaches with a stamp, an indication of, among other things, high water quality.
