Welcome to Los Chopos, our cherished family retreat nestled at the foot of Cabezo de la Fuente in Los Belones, Murcia. We are Gloria, a native Spaniard, and Pete, of Belgian and English heritage, along with our three children and our Border Collie, Falco. Our home is your home, and we are delighted to share this special place with you. Los Chopos is part of a serene community of four villas that share a tranquil garden and pool area. Our villa offers breathtaking views of both the mountains and the sea, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The property features also a private pool and exterior kitchen, perfect for sunset barbacues, four thoughtfully designed bedrooms, a spacious living area equipped with modern entertainment options, and a terrace ideal for soaking in the natural beauty that surrounds us. Situated approximately 2 kilometers from pristine Mediterranean beaches, our location offers easy access to sunbathing, swimming, and various water sports. For those who enjoy outdoor activities, the nearby wooded hills provide excellent opportunities for hiking and wildlife observation. Love nature, the sea, and the sun. Los Chopos is our retreat, we live in Belgium, and coming down south for a relaxed holiday is a ritual that we do every year. Los Chopos 1 is our family holiday home. Gloria, who grew up in the region, played on the unpaved streets of nearby villages and on the beaches of the Mar Menor. Much has changed since those days, but it remains a place where time moves slowly and we can relax and enjoy the region's rich cuisine, striking landscapes, and endless sunsets. The house is situated at the foot of a small mountain called Cabezo de la Fuente, which provides us with a spring of fresh drinking water. During the day, when the weather is cool enough, one can hike through these forested hills to find quiet Mediterranean beaches, or in the evening this peak provides the perfect spot for watching the sunset. Downhill from the house, is the village of Los Belones, where one can go to drink a morning coffee or to eat tapas. Surrounding the village are fields that stretch down to the shores of the Mar Menor
