We love to welcome visitors to this beautiful part of Spain and to share what we find so special with them. There's no pressure to do anything here; go sightseeing if you want to or just do nothing if you prefer! There are plenty of options if you want to be active and plenty if you don't.
We are here if you need any advice or pointers but otherwise we are happy to just maintain the property so that it's always nice for you and then keep out of your way and let you enjoy your holiday!

Our property is just outside the hamlet of Estación de Cortes de la Frontera so we can walk there to enjoy good company, delicious tapas and ice-cold beer but, because we live in the countryside, we have peace and quiet and amazing views. The village of Cortes de la Frontera is just ten minutes away by car. Here, the night sky is awash with stars, the summer days are long and hot, our neighbours are lovely and the sun shines most of the year - what's not to love?
Our two studios are decorated in the rustic Andalucian style and both have shaded terraces with great views of the mountains. One has a double bed and a single bed so it is perfect for a couple with a small child. The other studio has a big double bed and our en-suite bedroom is spacious and comfortable and perfect for teenagers who can enjoy sleeping in a separate area from their parents (while still being close by). Swing in a hammock or relax on the day bed and watch the eagles wheeling overhead or enjoy the beauty of the moon coming up from behind the mountains.
This area has a very special feeling where it's easy to let the cares of the world drop from your shoulders and just take the time to do nothing!
周辺エリアの情報
We live just outside a small village called Estación de Cortes de la Frontera (also known as La Cañada del Real Tesoro). It is a quiet, peaceful Spanish village where you will find several bars selling typical Spanish tapas and meals - it's generally no-frills, friendly and extremely good value for money!
There is a small supermarket, a bakery and a shop selling excellent Pata Negra jamon. There are plenty of festivals in summer and the local feria takes place towards the end of July when the usually sleepy village becomes a hub of loud music, shows, horses and general mayhem for one long long weekend! The municipal pool in Cortes de la Frontera is ten minutes away by car, there is horse-riding and canoeing nearby, lots of walks and lots of green space to play or lay around in.
There is a vulture-feeding station in the nearby forest which is interesting to visit and caves with ancient cave drawings just 15 minutes away by car. Ronda is a short train-ride or car drive away and there are also white villages to explore. A favourite activity with our guests is to take the train to a nearby village, enjoy a long and lazy lunch and then hop on the train back here for a siesta!
