Property information

The first traces of construction of the Château de Saugé date back to 1607, then a second part of the castle was built in the 1900s. We continue to renovate the abandoned outbuildings in order to bring them back to life. The Château de Saugé is surrounded by a wooded park in which chickens, ducks, geese and various wild animals live. It is an ideal resting place for nature lovers. The building overlooks the town of Saint-Maixent-l'Ecole, a neighboring town located 5 minutes by car and offering all amenities (restaurants, bars, supermarkets, etc.). Our five suites are carefully decorated according to different themes and will take you back in time. The two gîtes/apartments are comfortably furnished, ideal for long stays.
