The apartment has a bed-sitting room with comfortable double sofa-bed, folding table and chairs, Wi-Fi and TV/DVD player, and an adjoining bathroom with shower, basin and w.c. The separate kitchen is equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, fridge, and plenty of cupboards. Sliding glass doors open onto your private terrace, with table and chairs for eating outdoors, and sun-deck to relax on.

We love this beautiful area and are very happy to have an opportunity to share it with guests who appreciate staying in a quiet, friendly place surrounded by nature. Looking forward to meeting you! We live on the same property, so are available to help with advice and practical issues, but will otherwise leave you to enjoy your holiday in peace and privacy.
Puivert (just a few minutes walk away) is a pretty, friendly village in lovely surroundings, with a Cathar castle, swimming lake and beach, gliding club, micro-brewery, museum, and restaurants, bars and cafés. There is a good range of shops in nearby Chalabre (6km). Occitanie is a region famed for its sunshine, beautiful scenery and fascinating history. With the Pyrenees on one side, and the Mediterranean on the other, it has Cathar castles, lively markets, medieval villages, wine trails and vineyards. There are plenty of good hiking routes in the area, and lovely places to drive or walk to. A car is advisable to make the most of your stay. The nearest cities are Carcassonne (one hour's drive) and Toulouse (90 minutes' drive) - both of which have airports, railway stations and autoroute access.
