if you are looking for a friendly family environment, don't look any further and come to La Clef des Champs. You will stay in the owner's villa but you will have your privacy as the suite you will be staying in is in the lower part of the house. Breakfast is served either in the owner's dining room or, weather permitting, on the terrace overlooking the swimming pool and park. The swimming pool is shared with the owners.

The villa is situated on the edge of the Fontainbleau forest. This working forest is perfect for walks, horseback riding (there are several places to rent horses nearby), and is, of course, world- famous for its bouldering areas. There is a park with a small inland water space including a beach in Bois-le-Roi 20 minutes by car from the house. We are 2 minute by car from the village of Chailly-en-Biere ; and 5 minutes from Barbizon, the famous village of the Barbizon School of Painters. Our surroundings are thus very special for lovers of nature and art. Shopping is nearby, too, with only a 7 minute drive to one of the largest Carrefour supermarkets in Europe in a shopping center with a number of interesting shops. The Cely-en-Biere golf course is 10 minutes from the villa. We are 15 minutes from Fontainebleau and INSEAD or Melun and 45 minutes from Paris by highway. Disneyland is also 45 minutes away and 10 minutes from the recreational area La Cartonnerie and the theater " Pierre Bachelet" in Dammarie -Les- Lys .
