Company information

We enjoy walking,cycling, running and motorcycling and are happy to provide as much or as little input as people wish to have. We also have a classic car and the local roads are great for driving and sightseeing. We enjoy cooking with local, seasonal produce. This is a remarkably good area for vegetarians as well as for those who love eating locally produced meats! Our daughter is a budding Artist and there is plenty to inspire anyone with an artistic interest. We have rescued a Spanish Water Dog and 6 chickens, who have now all become a part of the family!

Property information

A beautiful, recently renovated traditional stone built Provencale 'Mas', in a secluded location with a large swimming pool. Only 4 kms from the lovely listed Roman village of Pont de Barret. Set in 4 hectares of private oak woodland, surrounded by beautiful countryside and mountains yet close to amenities. Just on the edge of Provence, situated in La Drome-Provencale, a hidden jewel. Surrounded by sunflowers, lavender, enjoying the Provencale climate but without the crowds. The property comprises 3 gites. The owners live in the adjoining property and are on hand as much or as little as you need. Fantastic local produce, including excellent wines, cheeses, fruit, vegetables and organic produce. This area is home to the largest number of organic producers in France. So a great environment for anyone who enjoys good food or wine, including vegetarians. We have a wood fired pizza oven. This is a wonderful location for those who enjoy being active or simply relaxing.

Neighbourhood information

Surrounded by beautiful countryside, with fields full of barley, lavender and sunflowers. Many Roman villages around us with lots of places of interest to visit nearby or further a field. The lovely city of Orange is an hour to the South and Valence is an hour to the North. A vibrant, living village, Pont de Barret is full of history, where farmers and artists live side by side. 3 excellent restaurants in the village, with a friendly bar which stays open until late. A weekly market selling local produce.
