Maison Lou Amourier is an OVO Network property. The 3 bedroom 2 bathroom Provence house is spread over 2 floors and 200 m2 of floor space.
The OVO Network team’s opinion -
The house is ideal for family groups or groups of friends. Its proximity to the stunning village of Cotignac mean that discerning guests can easily and quickly experience the best that a Provençal village deep in rosé territory has to offer.
The house is very comfortable and well equipped especially the kitchen, which is no real surprise, given that the owners also own a restaurant. With subtle gentle colours and natural textures throughout, the house feels light, airy, spacious and importantly cool! The two ground floor bedrooms, bathroom and the kids' area stay at a cooler temperature. On the first floor the blinds and sliding glass doors provide welcome shade and relief from the high summer temperatures. There is an awning above the outdoor dining table next to the barbecue, and the Mulberry Tree the house is named after provides intricate patterned shade on a different terrace.
With terraces and/ or balconies on each of the four sides of the property and gorgeous planting, it's always possible to find welcome shade or full on sunshine throughout the day, whichever you prefer. The pool, terraces and outdoor shower offer relief from the heat. The garden is totally secure and private.
Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.

If a true taste of life in Provence is what you’re after, Lou Amourier is the perfect choice. It’s just a short walk to Cotignac (uphill on the way back!), where you can enjoy the popular Tuesday market, or the regular flea market. There are plenty of delightful shops and restaurants to choose from, or you could sit and enjoy a coffee under the plane trees in the Cours Gambetta.
There is no shortage of wonderful walks in the area - you might like to visit the waterfall at Sillans le Cascade, or perhaps the Saint-Joseph monastery to the west of the village. There is also a circular walk of the village which takes in the main historical sights - just follow the signposts from the Quatres Fontaines in the centre.
Visitors are welcome at many of the local vineyards, where you can taste the wine and local olive oil - check with the tourist office for more details.
