The house has been in he family since 1970. Being my Grand Mother's house, I purchased it upon her passing and have wanted to restore it whilst keeping the feeling of home that I have always known. I live in Australia where I am an interior degree and run hotels. In France the house is managed remotely by myself and with the help of my family.

The house is very close to the Belgium border, to Valenciennes and is also at the entrance of the picturesque Avesnois. The house is also very close to the Bombardier / Althom factory in Crespin and of the other surrounding companies.
