Manoir de Kerguezennec is located only 4km from Pontrieux a charming small town with a river ,period buildings,bars, restaurants shops and its famous Steam train to Paimpol. Close by are some nice walks, gardens and the well known Chateau de la Roche-Jagu. The port of Paimpol with it,s quaint harbour and sea food restuarants is only 15 minutes away. The medievil town of Treguir and its Cathedral is only 20 minutes away. If you like to play Golf there is the beautifull Chateau de Bois Gelin about 10 minutes away. There you can spend the whole day playing,walking and enjoy the nice restaurant. About 35 minutes from the Manoir is the interesting project, La Valle des Saints,with it,s ever growing number of 5 metre high granite statues of the Breton saints (currently about 100 ). The larger Breton towns of Guingamp, St Brieuc, Rennes,Morlaix and Brest are not too far. as are places like Lannion, Dinan and Saint Malo.The are many markets and brocantes in these towns. Although settled in the countryside,it is quite easy to even take in a day trip to Paris from Kerguezennec,via the fast TGV sevice from Guingamp station which is only 12 minutes from the Manoir.
