A historical building dating back to the XVIth century, entirey refurbished twenty years ago. This is the old Trauchandieres manor, right against which French privateer Guillaume des Trauchandieres built his "Malouinière" in 1714. Since last year, we set up a new more powerful satellite-based internet wifi network, a new very large screen English (sky/Netflix) and French TV, a new bathroom and new oak floor throughout
We are a Franco-American couple; Agnes was born and raised in Montreal, and lived in New York, London and Palo Alto, California where she met Claude who was a student at Stanford. The family lived in Munich, Milan and Claude travelled a lot in Spain; very internationally minded, we speak 6 languages... We love nature, garden and animals, history, old furniture and paintings, traveling, sailing and world affairs.
In the countryside, 10 minutes from the port of St Malo and 15 minutes from the fashionable Dinard sea side resort , 3 minutes to the beaches of the Rance estuary, this historical environment has multiple attractive things to offer besides sport and sea related activities.
