The Lodge Gite has been awarded 3 stars by the Dordogne and Perigord Tourisme France.
The Lodge is found beside a quite country road, with large garden, free off-road parking, swimming pool and free WIFI , air-conditioning, an ideal setting for a cosy, relaxing holiday.
The accommodation on the ground floor consists of a lounge area with 1 sofa this being a sofa bed, flat screen smart TV, French/English channels, and DVD player, a dining area with table and chairs, a kitchen area equipped with an oven and hob, a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, iron and ironing board.
On the first floor is a bedroom, with a large double bed and en-suite bathroom, with a shower cubicle, toilet and hand basin and a washing machine.
Outside there is a table, chairs, parasol and BBQ and access to the 10 x 5m HEATED (May & September other times on request at extra charge) swimming pool.

Aubeterre-sur-Dronne is 12 minutes drive away, with it's troglodyte church, central square surrounded by restaurants and bars, riverside beach and canoe hire.
Saint Aulaye is a 7 minutes drive, where you can find a beach, with bar and restaurant, canoe hire, a high ropes activity site, as well as restaurants/bars, boulangeries in the town center.
12 minutes away in the small village of Poltrot, you can visit an old floor mill beside the river, a small Bistrot severs food and drink during the summer and a high wire activity site with a maze is ideal for keeping the kids entertained.
Le Grand Etang de La Jemaye, a lake surround by trees, is only 16 minutes drive away, with a sandy beach, kids play area, canoe hire, cafe and a Bistrot, ideal for a relaxing day out.
The town of Bourdeilles with it's historic 13th-century fortress and Renaissance chateau, is a 40 minutes drive, well worth a visit to explore.
If you love wine, Saint Emilion is only 56 minutes drive, with it's monolithic church and over 800 wineries spread over 8 towns of the jurisdiction of Saint Emilion, there is plenty to see, do, eat and wine taste, well worth a visit.
Bergerac is a 56 minute drive and well worth a visit to see the old town and try some of the vast amount of Bergerac wine which for many years had been over-shadowed by Bordeaux wine.
