1 The Cairn is a beautiful flat, full of original features and character. It offers a calm and relaxing space to enjoy your break, with most guests vowing to return! There are loads of great walks in the area, with the ability to walk for miles right from the flat. The area is popular with cyclists too with many forest tracks and of course the canal, meaning you don't have to cycle on the main road either.

1 The Cairn features a spacious, sociable open plan living room/dining area/kitchen, with high ceilings, original beams and window seats. The living room has a plush 3 seater velvet Snug sofa, and pouffe. There is a TV with Fire stick to allow guests to log in to their own accounts (no standard TV).
The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you might need for a break away, including a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven/grill, hob and microwave.
The main bedroom has a super-comfy king sized bed and plenty of storage space; whilst the second bedroom features a sofa bed. There is also a desk with comfortable office chair in the main bedroom, along with fast WiFi incase you need to stay on top of work whilst you're away.
The large bathroom has beautiful period floor tiles, and a separate bath & shower, along with automatic lighting and a heated towel rail.
There is a big porch which offers suitable storage for shoes, boots and even bikes, wheelchairs or prams.

Set in the heart of the Kilmartin Glen, an area steeped in history, the flat offers the perfect place to come home to after a long day of exploring. A 30-second walk from the locally renowned Kilmartin Hotel, or across the road from the Kilmartin Museum & Glen Bistro, eating out is an easy choice! The Kilmartin Hotel has a fantastic, cosy and welcoming atmosphere - a good place to spend an evening (or two!), getting to know the locals!
The area immediately surrounding the flat is sure to be a hit with walkers and archaeologists alike. An area steeped in history, the Kilmartin Glen is 'considered to have one of the most important concentrations of Neolithic and Bronze Age remains in Scotland'. Kilmartin is a small, leafy village sitting in the heart of the Kilmartin Glen - surrounded by centuries of history and sites of great archeological importance. The flat itself sits just across the road from the museum (and bistro), and a 30 second walk from the Kilmartin Hotel - one of the most popular eating places around with locals (also pet friendly!).
